For the first time since launching These Native Goods I ran off and disconnected as best I could with my family. We spent our days bumming on the beach, exploring and enjoying delicious fresh fruits and seafood. Some of my favorite memories; finding random little beaches with no crowds, the organic shave ice selection at Wishing Well, grubbing sushi burritos from Sushi Girl while watching the sun set over the water (beach picnics are a must), the insane views at Waimea Canyon, the salmon skin hand roll (with nori) at Dolphin, the chickens (and little baby chicks) running wild and everything about the magical little town of Hanalei Bay. The best part of all was spending quality time with my loves and introducing our daughter to a new place. Back home now and still adjusting to "real" life, but wanted to share some of the shots from our trip. I packed only USA made (and vintage) pieces in my bag and brought a lovely new (to me) skincare line along to sample as well.
