I am not a big fan of the traditional Black Friday scene. Crowds of eager shoppers pushing and shoving, people buying up more than they need in the name of a sale. However I do think this is a great time to support small businesses. Prices can be higher for USA and ethically made brands (with good reason) take advantage of these sales to get that special item you have been eying or snag some unique gifts for loved ones. Below is a list of just some of the companies from our USA made directory that are hosting sales this weekend. Please consider supporting these awesome brands (and stores) instead of those big guys.

s the winter season approaches I cant help but get excited for our family snow trip. Dreaming about hitting the slopes, cozying up next to warm fires with hot cocoa, pulling on soft comfy layers and trudging through snow fields. There is something so comforting about the crisp cold air, an icy stillness that creates a feeling of calm and leave's me rejuvenated. Unfortunately my skin takes a beating especially after a day on the mountain, my whole body tends to feel a bit run over actually (I crash a lot while snowboarding).
