Bagtazo

Designer Courtney Bagtazo launched her brand in 2014 initially as a jewelry line, it has since grown to include beautiful hats and other accessories (gloves, scarfs and more). Her pieces are made in New York City, Hudson, New England and occasionally in France. The jewelry collection is all handmade, while the other accessories are finished by hand. Courtney started Bagtazo in Los Angeles but the line is currently based in New York where she resides. Bagtazo is a family name that the designer chose to honor her grandmother. I love the elegant yet edgy designs, the pieces have a unique editorial feel but are also minimal enough for everyday wear.

Noto Botanics

Gloria Noto has been a makeup artist for over 11 years, she founded Noto Botanics with the intention of creating an inclusive natural skincare collection. The unisex cosmetic line is multi use, making for a clutter free (and toxin free) routine. Noto Botanics includes nourishing oils, sprays, color stains, highlighters and more. Our personal favorites, the Deep Serum (a hydrating face, neck and everywhere oil) and Hydra Highlighter (a perfect glow with a lovely rosemary/lavender scent). We also love that many of her products are available in glass, limiting the amount of plastic waste.

Rachel Pally

This female owned line has been around since 2002, from the beginning designer Rachel Pally has been dedicated to local and ethical production. She celebrates all women and has created a company that is not only beautiful but inclusive. Her collections include contemporary sizes XS-XL, Plus and Maternity. Diverse sizing isn't always easy to find from local labels, we applaud Rachel for providing such a wide range of conscious designs. The mother of two has a great sense of the female spirit, she creates pieces that work in real life and on real bodies. Bridal party gowns also available.

Moon Bath

Created by three friends on a Scorpio full moon, the line includes botanical bath teas, infused salt and sacred smoke. The teas are designed to work with the phases of the moon, organic herbs are specially blended based on Ayurvedic tradition. The blends include New Moon, Waxing Moon, Full Moon and Waning Moon; meant to be enjoyed during the corresponding moon cycle. The Milk & Honey infused salt can be combined with the bath teas for an extra delicious soak, or savored alone.

Sigil Scent

Unisex fragrance and body care, 100% plant based, derived from organic, wildcraft and sustainably harvested ingredients. Catori Life

Designer Holly Takoda Rhoads pulls inspiration from her natural surroundings in Santa Fe and her love of mysticism. Her pieces are hand carved in wax then cast in recycled bronze (ethically produced in the USA). A percentage of each sale is used to plant 30 trees through Eden Reforestation Projects, an organization providing jobs to impoverished communities while working to restore their local forests. Catori’s donations have already funded the planting of tens of thousands of trees. Holly has a background in the healing arts and uses her knowledge of energy to pass blessings unto the wearers of her jewelry. We love the earthy and talisman like designs.

HfS Collective

Hipsters For Sisters is a sustainable line of bags designed by mother and daughter duo Debra and Rachel Denniston. Their signature styles are hands free, worn at the hip, like a chic update to the Fanny Pack. The concept was created by Debra (mother) after years of frustration and shoulder pain associated with heavy bags. She also wanted to simplify "If men can get through their days with only the contents of their pockets, women can too." Their belt bags are just the right size for the essentials, for days when life requires you to carry a little more, they also design some beautiful larger cross body styles. All bags are made using sustainable, Eco and animal friendly materials, such as fabrics made from recycled materials, hemp, cork and Pinatex.

Delicious small batch, hand blended teas made from an assortment of organic herbs and mushrooms. A couple of our favorites; Heart Herbal Tea, made from hibiscus, ginger, rose hips, stevia leaf, orange peel, rose petals and hawthorn leaf (try this one iced, its perfect) and Awaken Black Tea, an uplifting mix of cornflowers, chaga + cordyceps mushrooms, vanilla bean and black tea. Rowsie Vain

Natural skincare crafted in Ojai California by Whitney Morales. We are particularly fond of her oil blends (Rise/Shine stole our hearts) these beautiful little oils are housed in glass bottles with dried flowers. Gorgeous to look at and they feel/smell wonderful on the skin. Our next favorites would be the Mama and Baby Moon oils, as well as the delicious Cafe Reve exfoliate. As a note a few of their products contain preservatives however they are high quality, responsibly sourced and used in minimal amounts, their purpose is to prevent mold and preserve the integrity of the products. If you prefer to avoid these, Rowsie Vain still has a lovely selection of products without them.

A mother and daughter duo forging metal in the desert. Bright Star & Buffalo was born from a desire to practice creativity daily and to hand forge pieces with intent. Kelsey (the mother) has 40+ years of experience working with metals. While Natalie (the daughter) studied liberal and fine arts, then went on to work in varying design fields (jewelry, interior, theater set). They use recycled or repurposed metals, resuse their scraps and work with cruelty free and gathered materials, implementing sustainable practices all along the way. The name broken down stands for LA-CA-USA or La Causa, which in Spanish means “the cause.” Lacausa pieces have a laid back California vibe, they are comfortable and wearable but don’t sacrifice on character.
